Aster is a Consortium between the Emilia-Romagna Regional Government, the five Universities, the National Research Centres located in the region - the National Research Council (CNR) and the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) - the Regional Union of Chambers of Commerce and the regional Entrepreneurial Associations.

The Consortium was established with the aim to sustain, coordinate and valorize research and technology transfer throughout the territory.

Aster plays a key role in the Emilia-Romagna Region in the diffusion of the culture for entrepreneurship and in the provision of support for innovative start-ups including training, consultancy, finance and networking opportunities.

The Project

The ENERGEIA Project originates from the shared need of more effective ways of supporting entrepreneurship in the field of renewable energy, which, in the Mediterranean area, represent an enormous asset for a sustainable economic development. The Partners

Eight partners from six different counties are taking part in the ENERGEIA project. These are ASTER (project leader) and the Province of Turin from Italy, IAT and INFO from Spain, FTZ from Malta, Incubateur PACA-EST from France, UAig from Portugal and SERDA from Bosnia & Herzegovina.
